Terrible customer service. The girl at the counter was rude, and I was disgusted by her lack of help. She was by far the worst customer service rep I've ever encountered and deserved to be fired. AVIS I'd a disgrace. They double charged me and have no remorse and when I called they refused to help and hung up on me.
If I could leave no stars, I would. Do not fall for any "discounts" this company offers or promotes. It is not a discount- it is just a way to make you think you are getting a good deal while actually being charged through the roof for mileage and fees. This company does not care what shape the car is in when you rent either (my husband and I had to drive 8 hours with a tire light on because their employees didn't care to check for any warning lights before renting the car out. We couldn't even get them to check the tire pressure to ensure our safety while on the road before we left.) If you have no option but to rent from this terrible company please be sure you read all the fine print on the confirmation email because what the employees tell you on the phone will not likely be the truth. Very displeased with this company and their poor excuse of customer service.
So i made a reservation to pick up car at 9:30am, we there about 10 min before, there was noone at the desk, we walked about the airport to ask where anyone was, no one knew, we asked security and they had no idea, after being about 15min late, the person walked in from outside, walked past us and didn't say a word, they went behind the desk, settled themselves and then asked, "how may i help you" , not "sorry i'm late" "not i apologize for not being at my job on time" nothing, they act like everything was fine, not to mention while we were standing there, the phone was ringing the entire time, so besides losing our business for being completely inconsiderate of our time and the reservation made because that's what people do with you need to do things in a timely manner, they also lost several other people simply by not doing their job. I would recommend everyone to NEVER rent from this place. it is the most UNPROFESSIONALLY run car rental place i have ever been too. They don't care about your business, they don't care to do there job, they don't care about getting your money, they honestly don't give a damn. if i could rate 0/5 i definitely would
I booked a mid-size car ahead for my trip to Savannah, GA. When I got there at 10:30 am to pick up my car, they just told me they did not have car available. There were cars that did not return. Ask them how long wait. They said they did not know. I waited over an hour and left. Very poor customer service. I think they should at least gave me a courtesy call and letting me know that they may not have car available so that I could look for other rental car company. I drove 45 minutes to their office for nothing. I always booked my car at least a week ahead, and I never have problems of not getting a car. I know some rental co. would reserve cars from other locations to make sure they have coverage. This is my first time of such poor service. DO NOT go there. You may end up with the same treatment and screw up your trip.
I wouldn't have even given them one star! But I had no choice! These people are the rudest most unprofessional, lacking customer service and people skills, that I have ever encountered! Stay away!!! When we picked up our car it was dirty! The clerk was cold acting! She suggested having the guy that washes cars to "skeet it off a bit"...huh? When we brought the car back, they asked for the original rental contract instead of just looking it up and the clerk was sour. She acted as if she was just there. I saw the terrible reviews before I rented but ignored them. I wished I hadn't! Please stay away from these people and this company! If I am handing over my money, I want a clean car handed over with good customer service! Clearly these people don't know what that is! Even if the car wasn't clean, that wasn't anything compared to the customer service
