This builder showed us their model home, it looked great... however that's not what we got.
Very Poor Quality! That's about all I can say. Look at the picture. Who nails 3 2x4's together to make a support post? And a small 2x4 scrap under the post because the post was cut too short. Grass growing out of the walls.This is Windmill Inc quality for you.
Felt like cheap and quick were the superintendent's priorities.
They give you a warranty (that you will need to use before the house is even completed) but they refuse to honor it. I sent them a certified letter with pictures and a detailed description, but they won't even reply.
They installed indoor lights outside to save money, they did a bad wiring job, a 5 year old could do a better paint job than they did. The molding doesn't line up and they didn't use a miter saw, they just left the unfinished edge showing. The holes in the foundation where the pipes come up were never filled in, they just covered it up with the cabinets.
