I do not normally leave bad reviews, but I had a horrible experience here the one and only time that I went in. I wanted a basic trim and an eyebrow wax. My stylist did fine on the trim, but when she did my eyebrow wax, the wax got stuck to my face and she couldn't get it off, even with the remover. She ended up taking off half my eyebrow on one side, and leaving me with a totally lopsided looking face. The eyebrows were not even the same shape by the time she was done. I was so worried that I was having an allergic reaction, and I had to go to a high-end salon and pay thirty dollars just for them to fix my brows. The wax came right off at the other salon, so I don't even think SmartStyle was using the right product on my face. The stylist was sweet, but I think a professional would not have let me had such a bad experience. I understand making a mistake on the shape of the eyebrows to some extent, but letting me walk out of there with wax stuck all over my face was not acceptable. She was the only one working, but she should have called her supervisor to come in and fix it. She did not charge me for the eyebrow wax, but it was a scary and frustrating experience.
