Went with my sister to this historic mansion, we visited on a slow day which was fantastic for us as we ended up getting a personal tour with just my sister and I. The docent was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The information he provided and the the way he conveyed his knowledge was very enjoyable. Would highly recommend a visit to any history buff and the furnishings were lovely to see as well.

I just wasn't impressed. It's half a Greek revival house, very small. Not much to see here.
Beautiful home that has been restored to its original luster. Very well-maintained and a great place to visit. Women dressed in period costume lead tours and share stories of the home and those who lived there and in the area. They read stories to the children and serve juice and cookies. The library is wonderful and it is a great place for those who live in town, ad well as out of yown, to visit.
Wonderful educational experience. Great staff and friendly atmosphere!! Would recommend to anyone!!
