The Park has switched management at least 3 times within the last 10 months. They have switched maintenance more than I can count. I've been asking for my closet doors to be repaired since we moved in. They came out once. The bugs are ridiculous. I've always known for any apartment complex to have routine pest control at least once a month. I've seen them once since my stay here. We constantly treat our place for bugs on our own but they still find a way in. I've complained about all types of bugs in this apartment only to be told that we must have brought them with us. Which is absurd. The ceiling in bathroom #1 started out with a few black dots have not emerged into several circles which I believe is or will soon be mold. You can also see where water is starting to run down the side of the shower wall as well. This is very dangerous b/c the ceiling could give any day now due to the pressure. The staff never answers the phone or return calls. It's a must that you drop in! These apartments are in major need of full renovation because the patchwork here and there is not acceptable. I really regret moving in here. I will not be resigning a new lease. Hopefully someone can come in and renovate them into decent homes!!!
I only went to view the empty one bed room they had available. First the demo pictures are completely outdated and do not rely on them. It was definitely below my standards & not worth it. The office was gorgeous, but the apartment was poorly kept. The apartment smelled like there was a cheap cigarette smoking contest the night before. Nearly took my breath away. Completely unacceptable in my living area considering I don't smoke. Floor plan was fine , but the carpet walls , & flooring was a disappointment. It was a dark chocolate color. She told me it was dyed . I'm assuming they dyed it to hide all the stains instead of replacing it , which is absolutely deplorable. Old , raggedy blinds. The appliances were pretty outdated . They were white & all banged up and damaged. I didn't even bother walking into the bathroom. It was gross. The room size was reasonable. It was small. With the awful dark brown carpet throughout. The closet doors were broken too. I didn't bother seeing the 2 bedroom because of all the other bad reviews and roach infestation. This place shouldn't even be your last resort.
1. The amount of rent being charged is considerably different from what's listed on their website. 2. IF you love to neglect your children and allow them to roam free out of your sight, not being responsible parents, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! 3. When I signed my lease there is a clause that states renters insurance was recommended but not required. A few months after moving in they insist it's now a requirement and they won't take any more rent if I do not purchase the "required" insurance. After speaking with a lawyer I was informed this could be a breach of contract. I sent them a certified letter stating this and have not heard anything back. I hope like hell they reject my rent so I can argue my case in court. I don't have a roach problem like others who've posted seem to have, but the outside noise from children is horrible. I understand children play, but why aren't they playing behind their own apartments or in the designated play area? When I call to complain I'm told that they already know who the children are because other tenants have called about them as well....that's not reassuring at all. I am currently looking for a new place. If you have no other choice then this might be the place for you, but I will echo another poster, IF you can choose somewhere else, by all means do so.
I have only been here a month and I regret moving here. They show you the model which is nothing like the apartment you will be living in. 1) it's infested with roaches- I have to have an outsider to spray because the rent office state that pest control only come out speraticly. 2) matience half ass fix the same shot when they do come.3) Grounds are filthy- same trash since moving here is on the grounds.4) Staff do not give a damn about property or tenants.5) Owner do not give a damn it's obvious based on the property.6) radegy ass blinds to Windows- some have sheets on Windows when blinds are $5.00. These apartments are worse than the slums infact they are slumlords.I wish like hell I could move and get my money back. Do not I repeat, Do not move here run like hell. Living in public housing is nicer than living here. !!!
I moved into these apartment about a month ago, Upon moving in my apartment was infested with German cockroaches. I could not believe it!!! In my mind, I said I wouldn't let no one move in here like this. Where was the cleaning crew to have this apartment presentable for the new tenant. I don't think they spent money to have a cleaning crew to clean the cabinet and get rid of the roaches. They were running around in the kitchen cabinets like they had a buffet available. I will say that the company that they deal with their pest issue. They came out twice to my apartment and put down a peanut butter looking paste and sprayed. During my walk through I told them that I need my closet doors repaired. I have yet to receive my new closet doors. Their maintenance team is slow with repairs and I do mean slow. I have several requests that was entered about two weeks ago and they have yet to come fix any of my request in a timely manner. I have a serious bees issue brewing to the corner of my patio. I cannot even go sit and enjoy myself on my patio because I'm too scared that myself or my kids will get stung. I also got notification of updates or residence wide issues being done a day in advance instead of a week in advance. I came home yesterday to my carpet wet from rain so I have a leak in my master bedroom. I entered a request as very high so I'm going to see how long it takes them to come remedy this situation. These apartments needs serious remodeling inside and outside. I'm just kind of turn off at the lack of up keep for these apartment. I'm sure they have went through difference management but someone need to wake up before this place be condemned not livable. They need a serious paint job to the external structure, they need to start remodeling these apartments on the inside before the rain causes serious structure damage with mold and mildew and it becomes a health issue to residents living here. No, I'm not calling the office when I have entered several request online that should be handled in a timely manner.
