Made an appointment for 9:30 for my German Shepard, scheduled for a drop off and to get vaccines. Filled out the drop off form right at 9:30 handed it to the attendant was told he could not find the appointment in the computer. He then proceeded to check me in with the drop off form and updating info on what need to be done, this took him 20-30 minutes. After he completely checking me in he told me I would need to wait an hour to get my dog a room. I told him the appointment was for a drop-off and if he could not do it why check me in? I had to be at work and was already late. He asked me to wait and he got a supervisor from the back. That person told me that they could not do a drop off, I told her that it was crazy I had an appointment for drop off at 9:30 at this point it was 10:15 and I was already late for work and now I would need to drive back home to drop off my dog which would make me later why would they spend so much time checking me in to tell me that they could not let me drop-off my dog? She again said that she could not take him so I told her that was BS and left. So I was there for 45 minutes and told at least 4 time that I could not drop him off. Proceeded to take my dog back home and my wife called to lodge a complaint and ask to speak with a manage she was told that the manager was not working today ( by the guy checking me in) and that they found the appointment and if I would have not walked out they were about to accommodate me. I was pissed I just spent 45 minutes trying to get my dog dropped off and they said I just walked out? I called to get the number to HQ to lodge a complaint and they told me the manager was there and I gave her all the info she informed me it was only her 2nd day on the job she would look into it and asked me if I had the names of the people I talked to I did not. I then stopped back by on my way to work and told her what my wife had told me about her call. We walked back to the Benfield desk that was unattended and she had to help a customer real quick. Then finished and ask the gentleman that I spoke with to come out and he said I just walked out and they would have accommodated me had I not. I told them I was there for 45 minutes and told at least 4 time that they could not let me drop off. At what point did they want to tell me they would accommodate me? Were they waiting for me to get on my knees and beg them or is there a magic time like if I was there for 47 minutes what was the thing I missed. I had made and appointment filled out all the paperwork, when through there 30 minute checkin waited for a supervisor to come out and tell me 2-3 different time they would not allow me to drop him off. What did I miss I think anybody in that situation would have walked out. Now after this I will never step foot into that place again they have completely lost my business. I understand that mistakes get made and overbooking happen but this staff does not use any logic period. The new manager you have your work cut out for you. Sorry and hope you the best.
Love this place. Take great care of my dog when i come in and always have a smiling face to greet you. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else these guys and gals are always amazing
Took my sick cat in on Sunday 9/3/17 about 2pm. They have a sign posted behind the check in counter stating sick & injured animals will be seen first. I was told no because they,already had too many regular appointments. When I asked why they had a sign posted otherwise I was just given a crazy look & told again they didn't have time to see my cat. If they don't follow their own policy, why would anyone trust them with a pet???
We have been using this place for 8 yrs now and they have always taken the best care of our miniature Shnauzer. Great preventive Care and annual shots. The ladies up front are good about getting you into a room pretty quick. On occasion they overbook. So it's not the the fault of the girl upfront.
This particular Banfield location has always been very helpful and professional with my pet. I greatly appreciate them taking such good care of my four-legged friend!
