Called to see about a crown being put back on and they wanted to do a whole new exam because I had never benn there. I tried to explain I had just seen my dentist and the insurance would not pay for another. Seriously, just glue the crown on.
Everyone who works at this dentist office is hand downs, the best. I firmly believe there is no other dentist like Dr. Wiles.

They have a display (TV at your chair for your use). Everything is comfortably right in front of you (not on the wall where you can't see) to clearly see and explain any issues. Has all x-rays and HD photos of each tooth to view. I like seeing what is there for myself. This is a first, Love it.

I am not even sure where to begin with this to be honest. First let me say, that I am probably the textbook definition of what a dentist's nightmare is. I recently moved to the area, and finally decided to take a step and see a dentist after making some really poor choices in my younger adult days.
This will be our family dentist in the future.
I have had bad experience where local dentist (The Crown Queen) suggested crowns on multiple teeth. After 2 crowns and Thosands of dollars, I was told on a second opinion none of teeth in question need crowns.
For the sake of trying to keep this review short, I am going to fast forward to the first procedure with him (Which was just a few days ago). It was almost completely painless. I think the most painful part was just keeping my mouth open during the procedure. He told me at the end of it, he wanted me to keep in touch with him regarding my healing process, and he meant it. I got a follow up call the next day.
My initial appointment, before walking into the office, I was extremely nervous. I think it would be an understatement that the staff even noticed from the moment I walked in, how nervous I was. However, regardless of this, the staff was extremely sweet and caring and intuitive to the fact I was nervous. They did everything they could possibly do to ease my anxiety about it.
Dr. Matthew Wiles DDS is very personal and gives you an in-depth exam. Explained every thing very thoroughly, answered all questions.
I needed a crown. They have the ability to MAKE the crown in office, same day one trip in the Chair. Not weeks with Tempararies and multiple trips.
I stumbled across Macon Dentist Office while doing a google search, and seeing what my new insurance covered through my employer. Of course, making the initial contact was the easy part, because I assumed it would be about 6 months out before I would even get seen. Well to much surprise, they were able to get me in within 3 weeks as a new patient. With that being said, I do want to mention, I have heard and read reviews were people who were experiencing pain were able to get in sooner.
I first was taken back to get x-rays done. Of course, at this point, I am pretty sure my heart was about to beat right out of my chest. However, even during the process of getting x-rays, staff never showed any sign of judgement. I personally believe, this is not an act on their part. I really do believe that they are not judgmental in any form.
I have been looking for a dentist in Macon. I called other offices who couldn't get me in and put me on their waiting lists. I wanted to get an appointment as soon as I could as I'm a teacher and summer will come and go quickly. Macon Dentist Office had an appointment for me the day after I called. I went in this morning, did not have to wait, and met the friendliest staff ever! They had very up-to-date technology and took the time to get to know me rather than just rushing through to get to the next person. I also needed two fillings that they were able to do today, so I can enjoy the rest of my summer break with no dental stress! Thank you, Macon Dentist Office, for taking care of me today!
Now of course, the part of the review people will speed read too, Dr. Wiles. Well, I literally do not think my vocabulary is big enough to express how awesome this man is. In addition to his bedside manner being probably the best I have ever met (I work with a lot of doctors as well), I really do whole heartily believe it is sincere. On top of all of this, he was able to walk me through every option there was.
I felt every thing Dr. Wiles suggested was needed and honest. I could see it for myself.
