I like Stein Mart but they do seem to be a little on the expensive side. The only way I can get things there is when they ate on clearance. But I do find things I like so I think 4 stars is fair.

Friendliest sales associate! I've never been to a stein mart before. The store was clean and organized, good selection. The young woman that checked me out was very friendly and made my dad and I laugh and feel at ease. We were out of town. If I ever come by a stein mart again I'll shop there. Only negative, shoe selection for size 11. The 11's I found were small and narrow.
I have always enjoyed shopping at Stein Mart but today was not enjoyable at all. I found a gorgeous blouse but no price tag to be found on any of the number of same blouses hanging on the rack. I stopped a salesclerk who couldn't find a price, had no clue then sent me to front register to get the price. I had to stand in line through 4 other customers to be told by cashier she had no way of pricing without scan bar. I said then why would that clerk send me to you? I have waited all that time for NOTHING! Then she ask me if I still wanted it!!!???? Guess I should have asked her was she going to ring it up no charge. Total waste of time and no apology for my wasted time.
A star for quality of apparel and another for prices of apparel. Unfortunately, no more stars because the women at checkout were far too busy with each other to acknowledge my presence, much less to take my money..
