3 HOUR WAIT TIMES. Be prepared. If you have a scheduled appointment, and even if you get there early, you're still going to wait for a few hours. It can't be considered a scheduling error because it happens every time. It's as if they have no idea how to schedule appointments, so they just say whatever. The staff tries to be reassuring by telling you that there is only 1 person ahead of you, but then an hour later (and after watching numerous people walk out with prescriptions) there's still "only one person ahead of you."
I truly can't find the words to describe the lack of professionalism, intelligence, or simple human decency of this "practice". Be prepared to wait for hours on end (as the "doctor" generally is too busy sitting in his office watching tennis and the creepy cameras he has placed in the waiting rooms), though once they make enough time in their busy tv watching schedule, you may get all of 90 seconds with them. They intentionally complicate everything, and in all honesty think the entire practice is involved in something rather shady. Dont waste your time nor sanity with this pathetic excuse of a psychiatrist.
This clinic is very professional. The staff there are very helpful and understanding. The doctor was very intelligent and informative. He explained any and all of the issues and question that I might have had to help me understand my child condition and how to deal with. I have searched and searched for a exceptional psychiatrist for my son and not I have found him. What I like the most about this office is that my son actually like the doctor as well and is willing to open up to the doctor. There have not been any doctors that have been able to do this and make my son feel like its ok to talk to the doctor. That takes some real skills. This is a clinic that I would refer to anyone in this area and even outside this area. Thanks for all your help St. Lazarus Behavioral Health!
I had an initial patient appointment at 12:45 and at 3:30 I was still not seen. After asking who was next and discovering it still wasn't my turn, I went to the registration desk and asked for a refund. The staff did not even ask me why I wanted a refund or why I was leaving. There was no effort to remedy the situation. I lost a whole days worth of work due to the scheduling staff not scheduling properly. I left with my refund and will tell everyone I know not to come here.
I think they're fantastic. I respect both Dr. Samuels and his nurse practitioner Dr. Nellie Samuels advice and the new facility is very nice. Wait time is not bad at all.
