Amazing experience, staff was wonderful the room was spacious with super comfortable bed. The garden is extremely relaxing and a great place for a get away without losing all modem convinces
The location is great because it's not that far from downtown Macon. The Inn itself is beautiful and is very antique and homey. It has a beautiful scenery and the people are the nicest you'll ever meet. I didn't care for breakfast much but they have the option to bring it to your room which is nice.
Wonderful place. Great charachter. Everone looked after us amazingly well. The lounge and terraces are lovely to sit in with a drink or for breakfast.
1842 was lovely. Our innkeepers were hospitable without being nosy. The wall of famous visitors was impressive. The decor is beautiful as well as charming. Sleep well in macon at the 1842. Oh! And breakfast was delicious too!
We will definitely come back again. 1842 Inn and Macon was a great place for a weekend getaway destination. Lots to do with tons of southern hospitality.
