Horrible place. Looked nice at a glance. Walked in and cockroaches scattered. Mold growing on walls. Stains everywhere. And hair in bathroom floor. Customer service was horrible as well. We checked out as soon as we walked in the door. Do not make same mistake as us. You do not wanna take the roaches and bed bugs home from this place
Came to Macon to visit some fam and friends and for a weekend, ended up getting a refund and one night free due to the original room we rented had roaches, spiders, and other bugs that i couldnt identify, it was muggy and uncomfortable, unprofessional, they ended up moving us to what had to be the show room cause it seemed as if we were at a different hotel the room was better, had better amenities and a better feel to it...down to the bathroom was so much better, i didnt feel as if i had to wear slippers to wash my body, i had my toddlers with me and it was a very bitter to sweet experience. I wouldnt reccomend the stay though.
The actual pictures on the site look nice but its older and out dated. Baymont needs to check this location out and they would probably close it down. There is a broken door latch , floors are dirty no bath mat to stand on when you get out the shower. No towels or wash clothes available until the maid comes in at 9am stated the clerk. No smoke detector. Bathroom light has wires showing so does above the bed wires hanging from ceiling. Air conditioner worked great that's the bonus lol. I seen no bugs as other stated they have.
Our room was dirty, there were dirty underwear in a drawer and floors were disgusting. Also condom wrappers in trash and staff didn't do anything to help remedy the situation. There were a lot of shady characters staying here who kept approaching me and asking me for money and cigarettes. One guy offered to buy our towels because he claimed his room didn't have any. It was strange.
This place was so disgusting!!! We had to stay there one night due to being evacuated because of hurricane Irma. This was the only place available at the time unfortunately. The wood floors stayed damp the whole entire time. Our sheets on the bed were even damp. My kids said to me, "mommy can we please sleep in the truck tonight?" It was truly a nightmare. There was no toilet paper. One rag and towel. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. When I turned the water on in the tub it was a shade away from being orange. I had my cleaning supplies and wiped down what I could. I would not ever recommend this place unless it is your last hope even then be very cautious. The only reason they received one star from me is because we had to give them something. Other than that, I would give zero stars.
