Two story hotel with NO ELEVATOR. They should let people know that before they make reservations. No staff there to help get your luggage up stairs. Also, requested non smoking room, could smell smoke when I entered room. Then found ash tray in room. Told front desk & she said they just recently converted into a non-smoking room and she would remind cleaning staff to remove ashtray!
Very friendly and gave us a good rate! Lounge next door has karaoke and live music depending on the night. Met Robert Lee Coleman who use to play for James Brown and Percy Sledge. His band plays live on certain nights. Room was clean and quiet. Can't ask for much more!
The staff was great, room was fine beds were comfortable. Unfortunately hotel was infested with fleas so i can't give it a great review. I was covered in bites after a night; and talking to other guests they were as well - there was a baby in the room next door and the poor thing looked like it had been a blood donor it had so many bites! I know you are pet friendly, but please keep up on the pest control.
Very good location. The room was on the back side away from the street noise and all rooms were close to exits for easy when loading or unloading luggage. Beds we ok but not as comfortable as I am use to at a Best Western but doable. Breakfast was really good. I had scrambled eggs, a bisquit with gravy and link sausage. Coffee was pretty good also.
The rooms are nice and clean. Even the bathroom is clean. The rooms I stayed in appears to have been updated recently. Nice comfy bed. And it is quiet here. I would recommend staying here.
