Really long wait of 45 minutes, but so worth the wait! The waitress took really great care of us and it was so nice to hang out on the deck overlooking the Lake Tobeskfee and shooting the breeze with other patrons. We had fried calamari and fried pickles for appetizers that were so yummy! My husband enjoyed his fried catfish and blackened crayfish while I had the blackened alligator and shrimp. Our plates were piled high and we left very happy! So far the BEST place to in Macon!
READ THIS. If you show up to any restaurant that is 4.0 rating or better anywhere on a Friday or Saturday night THERE WILL BE AN LONG WAIT. In addition, why in gods creation would you show up with a party of 12 and then leave a bad review because they won't seat you on Friday and Saturday night?
Great food. Service extremely slow. Waited 1 1/2 hours after order placed. We were a large group,(16) but had told them at onset, that we did not have to be seated together, nor was it important that be served at the same time. Seemed that wait staff & kitchen not on same page.
Awesome! one of the top three best restaurants in Macon. Offers awesome views and great food. Live bands during the summer in the evenings and lots of seating.
Love this place. Worked there for almost two years and still continue to love the food and atmosphere. Bands in the summer on the weekends outside. I live on the coast now and still come here for the best fresh seafood and oysters.
Tried alligator for my first time! Nice atmosphere on the lake. Food was served in large portions and service was good as well!
